St. Joseph the Worker School has a
developmentally appropriate integrated art program. There is a
full time art teacher that meets with grades Kindergarten through
8th in an art room that is fully equipped to produce works of art
from various mediums. The Art Room is equipped with a kiln.
The students' art work is displayed throughout the school in various
showcases.
The students are introduced to works of art by famous artists.
They develop an appreciation for art, working to create their own
"master piece" in the artists' style.
The students' artwork may be entered in contests sponsored by the
Diocese and other organizations resulting in many winners.
