St. Joseph the Worker offers the foreign language
of Spanish. The aim of the curriculum for the Spanish program
is:
To introduce the students to a foreign language
Expose the students to a different culture
Awaken in the students a desire to learn more about the world around
them
Communication among nationalities
The material is presented to develop listening, speaking, reading,
and writing skills in the Spanish language. All classes begin
with prayer in the Spanish language. In each level the
students are introduced to, developing, or reviewing the following
concepts.
In the primary grades:
