St. Joseph the Worker School excels in many ways.  The pastor, priests, principal, teachers, staff, and parents provide a loving, student-centered environment where they support the Catholic formation.  The following are requirements for parents of children who desire an educational experience founded on the Catholic philosophy of education.

ENROLLMENT

St. Joseph the Worker School has openings in all grades -- Preschool through 8th.  We welcome you to "Come and See"  our exceptional school that is rooted in the Catholic tradition, achieves the highest academic standards, and provides a comprehensive program to for the child in the virtues of faith, hope, and love.  For information, an application, or a tour please call 610-395-7221.

ADMISSION INTO KINDERGARTEN

Children must reach the age of 5 years prior to October 15th of the school year and are required to take the developmental readiness screening test. Readiness testing (fine/gross motor, speech, and language screening) is used to determine if the child has developmental skills necessary to achieve success in the kindergarten program. 

ADMISSION INTO FIRST THROUGH EIGHTH GRADE

Parents must present birth, baptismal certificate (for Catholic students), and immunization records upon registration.  Records from previous school(s), including standardized test scores may also be needed. A non-refundable registration fee is required at registration. Middle School students must also pay a non-refundable student fee, which will be applied toward tuition. Transfer students will be required to take a placement test before acceptance.
