Religion

St. Joseph the Worker
School Chapel

Catholic values permeate the fabric of our school, which is grounded in the religious education of each student. We continually nurture the growth of each child and their relationship with God and the community. The spirituality of the whole child is developed through prayer, liturgy, and service.  Spiritual formation revolves around the litugical cycle.  The students participate in School Masses, Class Masses, daily prayer, reception of the Sacraments, and religious programs to celebrate the liturgical seasons.

The religion curriculum is based on the four pillars of our faith: creed, sacraments, morality, and prayer each having priority topics for the appropriate grade level.  Each grade level has a set of prayers that the students must know.
